i have no credit right now.if i work at it and do all the right things i am supposed to is it possible to get a credit score of 620 in one year?

for sure. i had the same problem. try to go to your local bank and open a credit card account. they might give you one with a low limit($500) then just use it and pay it off every month. the more you can get companies to trust you with money, the more other companies will trust you with. the key is getting that first account opened soon, using it, and paying it off. this would be a great credit starter.

so the first step is to get your score

if you have a very low score in 400-500 then i dont think you can get it up that high in one year

because even if and after you apply for new credit, it will lower your score and each time you apply for credit it will put nicks in your score
