your credit is in the toilet now. Wait 6 months and it will automatically reset.

your credit card will not report a 2 day late payment, so long as you pay all their interest, late fees, etc. (and actually, if you%26#039;re a good customer you may be able to get the late fee if any waived once). they usually only report stuff that is 30+ days late.
the prior answerer is, i guess, trying to be funny.

It depends on how high your score is and what the rest of your credit history looks like. There is no set way to determine exactly how much it will drop. A lot of times a payment has to be at least 30 days late to even show up as late on a credit report. However, just because it wasn%26#039;t 30 days late doesn%26#039;t mean that they will report it as paid %26quot;on time%26quot;. They might not report it at all or they might go ahead and report it as late anyways. Since the balance was only $9.95 and it was only a few days I would say if you have a high credit score it will only drop slightly if reported as a late payment. If you have a low credit score it probably won%26#039;t even budge. If you have a high score, but very minimal credit history (only a few payments and only one credit card with a small limit, etc.) then it could actually do some damage and put you in an entirely different bracket on the credit scale of poor, fair, good, and excellent.
The only way to know for sure is to check your credit report. You can go to www.freecreditreport.com to do this.
ALSO the best thing to do isé–³?
Call your credit card company and ask for forgiveness. It sounds silly, but if you have been with them a long time and have usually made payments on time they might let it slide and report that it was paid on time. I%26#039;m sure for only $9.95 they wouldn%26#039;t mind doing this. I know people that have begged their bank to let them pay a $2,000+ house note a week late without any penalties or late fees and the bank agreed. It is better to call and let them know (and try to reason with them if you can) then to not make a payment and have them wait on your check with no idea of whether or not it is coming in the mail anytime soon. Go ahead and call them. It can%26#039;t hurt a thing and your chances of them letting is slide are actually a lot higher than you think.

It won%26#039;t show up necessarily, as usually it%26#039;s those that are over 60 days late that usually show up.
Check my credit FICO.

Unless you are over 30 days late on your credit card it will not be reported to the credit agencies as late.

DO NOT go to www.freecreditreport.com. You only get one report free (Transunion I think) and you have to pay for the rest. People get this one confused with the new one available to everyone at www.annualcreditreport.com. This is where you go to access all three credit reports for free every 365 days (not every year- so retarded). I suggest getting them all at the same time to be consistent.
