Will my credit score follow me to another country?

I am a U.S. citizen living in the U.S. and considering relocating to Canada. Does anyone know if my current credit score will follow me to Canada or if I will I have to start from scratch? I ask this because I%26#039;m under the assumption that they are based of an individual%26#039;s social security number which is for internal use in the U.S.

Your credit score is meaningless anywhere outside of the USA.

Will my credit score follow me to another country?

I believe you are correct.

Will my credit score follow me to another country?

no...i wont..

Will my credit score follow me to another country?

hmmm, good one. I would think that If the card is not valid in another country then no.

Will my credit score follow me to another country?

It does not follow you . Neither do traffic tickets, or any banking stuff. You start from scratch. I did the opposite, moved from Canada to the US and found some things unexpectedly difficult, like my banking stuff, nothing crosses that border.
