What is the TransUnion credit score good for?

It is always the highest score of the 3 credit bureaus but nowhone accepts it for credit purposes. No businesses I have called knows who accepts it. I do know T-Mobile uses it though. Any answers?

What is the TransUnion credit score good for?

I work for one of the largest mortgage lenders in the US. We pull a tri-bureau merge report, which means we look at all three of your credit reports. For pricing purposes, we use the middle of your three scores. TransUnion is NOT always the highest. Each bureau uses their own proprietary formula and can only take into account information that is reported to them.

What is the TransUnion credit score good for?

Not every creditor or collection agency reports to transunion, most of them use Koufax or experian that is why your transunion credit score is generally higher that is also why few companies will accept it.

What is the TransUnion credit score good for?

All 3 credit bureaus have their own scores they use, but Equifax uses the FICO score. Experian and TransUnion use their own score.

There is only one FICO score.

You can get it at myfico.com.

All 3 agencies have gotten together and are trying to develop 1 score that they all can use. It%26#039;s called the Vantage Score. It hasn%26#039;t quite caught on yet, but if it ever does it will make the whole credit score stuff easier to understand.
